Documents, videos, and audio, Oh My!
Downloadable content is typical for most websites, from tutorial videos and podcast content, to product sell-sheets, and informational brochures. Why not leverage the familiar downloadable content portal for your virtual event?
After all, there are times when you just can’t host demonstrations or provide handouts in real-time. Moreover, there’s usually two sets of content that gets shared with the attending audience of a physical event—primary information (AKA the top-level, most important details) and secondary information (AKA the supporting details). We recommend you opt for a content portal to house your secondary information handouts as downloadable documents, videos, and audio files.
Just remember, knowing what is being downloaded is just as important as tracking who downloads what content. (Good thing we can take care of that for you!)
Having the ability to know who downloaded which of the three PDFs you’ve posted and feed that data directly into your CRM tool to alert your sales team of specific product interest…well, that’s certainly more sophisticated than your standard “download now” button. We can build out customized download portals that allow for multiple large files to be grouped into a single zipped file, to reduce bandwidth for your user (which reduces download time and streamlines their experience).
And if you already have a file manager like Box.com, DropBox, or Sharepoint? Not to worry, as our team can integrate your file management systems into the platform we build into your virtual event space.
